Uses: Procedural sedation (e.g., endoscopy, bronchoscopy), induction of general anesthesia, and continuous sedation in ICUs.Administration: Given by doctors intravenously (IV) or intramuscularly (IM).Onset/Duration: Effects appear within 2–5 minutes and last for 30–60 minutes.Common Side Effects: Headache, hypotension, nausea, vomiting, injection site pain, and respiratory depression.
